WORSHIP MUSIC DIRECTOR

Nathan was born and raised in the Triangle, where his family and church began to teach him of the depth of God's heart for the nations.  He moved to Durham in 2014 to join other believers living in intentional community, and joined Waypoint as a worship leader. He married his wife Katie in 2017.

He graduated with a BS in Communication and a minor in Philosophy at Appalachian State University in 2011.  While at App, he joined mission trips to Kenya, Burkina Faso, and El Salvador. As worship director, Nathan does a little bit of everything, from helping the sound team, to leading the congregation in music, to filling in on drums sometimes.

In his free time, Nathan is usually playing with his kids, but can sometimes be enjoying playing basketball, watching tech videos on Youtube, and drinking Guayusa Tea.
